Commission from King George III to Thomas Barclay, as British commissioner for carrying into effect the stipulations contained in the 4th and 5th articles of the Treaty of Ghent, concluded in December 1814 between Great Britain and the United States of America. Signed and dated, Sept. 4, 1815. The Commission is enclosed in a lether covered box with a large seal in a silver box, engraved with the royal arms.
